The Dornych project, spearheaded by Crestyl, aims to rejuvenate Brno’s historic commercial center. Building upon nearly four decades of the area’s retail legacy, the development seeks to reestablish Dornych as a premier shopping and lifestyle destination, emphasizing modernity, connectivity, and sustainability.
Strategically located near key transportation hubs, the Dornych project is set to become a vibrant mixed-use district. The development will feature over 110 retail stores, more than 50 diverse gastronomic concepts, 190 residential units, and 23,400 square meters of modern office space. A central plaza will serve as a lively gathering spot, fostering community engagement and urban vitality.
To optimize the design and functionality of the Dornych project, Crestyl partnered with Virtuplex, leveraging their immersive VR platform. This collaboration enabled architects and developers to virtually explore the entire complex, facilitating real-time refinements to both interior and exterior designs. The VR model provided critical insights, allowing for the resolution of design ambiguities and enhancing stakeholder engagement.
